Wool Week at Fairview Village

Once again the Fairview Village resident’s Wool Group enjoyed a very successful Wool Week, with Wool Group members manning the stalls and taking pride in showing off their work to those who came to the exhibition, as well as raising in excess of $800.00.

The Wool Group very proudly donated 3 boxes of scarves, jumpers and beanies to the Warragul Food Bank for the needy people of Warragul this winter. Two days later a box full of tiny hats and jumpers was delivered to the maternity ward at the West Gippsland Hospital for the little premature babies.

Another visit was made to the Family Violence Unit for Baw Baw at the Warragul Police Station. The toys that were delivered to the Warragul Police Station will be used to help families get through their difficult times and children can have something to cuddle.
The Fairview Village community are extremely proud of the amazing efforts of the resident Wool Group and their donation and contribution to the wider community.
