What Is Home Care
Home Care is a service that provides people with a level of assistance that can enable you to stay independent and in your own home rather than feeling that you may need to move out of your own home due to changes in your living ability.
The Australian Government recognises Home Care and offers funding support for older Australians to receive this service.
Why Do I Need It?
You may have realised over time that some activities or domestic duties are simply getting a bit much and you have recognised that you need help with them. You also know that if you could receive some assistance then you are quite capable of staying in your own home for longer. The beautiful thing about Home Care is that you can choose the specific services you would like and that you need so that you may “Live Life To The Fullest”.
How much does it cost?
Fairviews Home Care service is available to ensure the health and living standards of each individual is the best it can possibly be and that we can, in some way, enhance quality of life and ensure self dignity and worth continues to be.
There are options for funding your home care services including:
- Paying for the services out of your own pocket
- Applying for Government funding via a Home Care Package: Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).
Our government-subsidised assistance ensures no out-of-pocket costs, except where specified by Centrelink. From handling household chores to lending a hand with shopping, our services extend to providing in-home respite, personal care, and basic maintenance.
Our dedicated staff work hand in hand with you, crafting personalised care plans that evolve with your changing needs, ensuring you receive the support you truly deserve.
